of students just like every coin has two sides, Social Media has its own
advantages and disadvantages for a student.

Advantages
of Social Media.

Sapp chat or a zoom video call to clear their doubts about the homework.
Various Social Media websites like Quora.com can help them get their answers
fast. Further sites like Pinterest
and Tumblr can
inspire them for their school projects

(2)  Students are
now able to search for better jobs in any country through various Social Media
sites like LinkedIn.



(3)  Students
can stay updated with the latest happenings around the world by using various Social
Media news applications like shorts which provide important news updates in a short summary.



 



Disadvantages of Social Media.



(1)   The rise of Social Media caused a decline in real-life communication students have found comfort in chatting, gaining more likes and
followers on Social Media applications rather than enjoying themselves with their friends
and family.



(2)   Many students are addicted to Social Media and
they are continuously distracted by various Social Media site notifications
which have started affecting their academic performance.



(3)    Students are spending countless hours watching
YouTube video seasons and movies on Netflix which affects their eyes and
mental health.



The final result found both conditions.



Social Media is a blessing if
used right. However, it can also lead a student to the path of failure and
disappointment if they are addicted to it.



Hence, Social Media applications
and websites must be used as a tool to increase your productivity rather than
using it only for entertainment.
